4 Horsemen are one of the most visually pleasing slots I’ve encountered in the Spinomenal collection. Dark aesthetics with hell-inspired motifs, inconspicuous animations and high-quality design of symbols make this series one of my favourites. 4 Horsemen III and II are packed with features. Moreover, the second edition has a rare Both Ways Wins approach where combinations are counted in both directions: left to right (like 99% of other slots) and in reverse.

Even if my session were non-profitable, which is not, I would still call this game one of the most exciting in the Spinometal collection. Along with its excellent artistic style, which I find detailed and appealing, though a bit scary, 4 Horsemen II has three rare features. Well, when I say ‘rare’, I mean they aren’t typical for the provider’s collection:
- A 4x3x3x3x4 field. Colossus Fruits, with a similar mechanic, has a mirroring format: 3x4x4x4x3.
- Pay Both Ways. The slot has 20 lines, but this model actually doubles the potential of the lines.
- Big Mystery Symbols. Well, mystery icons are a frequently used feature in video slots. But I’ve seldom met this feature applied to a big 3×3 symbol. Its implementation in 4 Horsemen II is interesting: When the reels stop after a spin, the three central reels can be occupied by a giant mystery symbol, including a high-paying one. 4 Horsemen is one of the most entertaining and atmospheric Spinomenal slot series I’ve reviewed here. The slots have several bonuses that are pretty rare to find anywhere else, e.g. a 3×3 Mystery Icon that morphs into another pic. All games are of medium volatility, I think so (there is no official info).
